Marshall - Mrs. Jessie Pearl Holland, 84, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville.. She had been a patient 3 weeks. She was born Jan 9, 1882 near Wallace to William and Martha Doss Mitchell. She married George Harvey, who died in 1944. She then married Thurmond Holland. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Frank Harvey of Alvin, Ill and Marvin Harvey of Sacramento, Calif; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Teague of Los Alamitos, Calif and Mrs. Edgar Shirer of Rt. 1, Crawfordsville; six stepsons, Robert Holland of New York; Ross and Randall Holland both of California, Ralph Holland of Georgia, Rudolph Holland of Alaska and Richard Holland in the Philippine Islands; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ruth Weybrecht of New York and Mrs. Rovigne Bracken of Cates; 42 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and five sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in Marshall. Rev. Harold Kollmeyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Wolf Creek Cemetery south of Wallace. -- kbz
